Routine Appointment

circled_dayTo make a routine appointment please ring the surgery on 01484 642020. Try to give the receptionist as much notice as possible this will enable us to offer you an appointment at a time suitable to you and with the doctor of your choice. Do remember that one appointment is for one patient.

You can book doctor and nurse appointments 4 weeks in advance. Please note if you arrive more than 20 minutes late for your appointment, you will be asked to rebook.

Urgent Appointment

Please ring the surgery at 08:30 or as soon as reasonably possible if you feel you need to be seen urgently. Urgent appointments are available daily. Please note the following are NOT considered as urgent:

  • repeat prescriptions
  • sick notes
  • general check up
  • insurance forms,
  • letter for college, solicitor, housing

Extended Access

Once a week on a Monday(except Bank Holidays) we offer appointment from 18.30 - 20.30. If you would like to book one of these appointments please look on-line or call the surgery.

We also have access to appointments at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary and The University Health Centre available out of usual surgery times, please contact the reception if you would like to book into one of these appointments, these appointments are co-ordinated by My Health Huddersfield and Local Care Direct for information https://my health


Practice Nurses

Our Practice Nurses see patients for any treatment based appointments for example dressings and long term conditions management. From July 1st we will be offering later nurse appointments on a Monday Evening between 18.30 - 20.30

Telephone Consultations

The practice can offer telephone consultations as an alternative to a face to face regular appointment. If you wish to talk to the doctor, please ask the receptionist to book a telephone appointment and ensure your contact details are up to date.


If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible with a minimum of 1 hour notice required in order for us to give the slot to someone else.%MCEPASTEBIN%
